About the Canadian Bridge Federation
Our Mission
The Canadian Bridge Federation’s mission is to grow bridge across Canada, support Canadian players, and protect Canada’s interests on the international stage.
Who We Are
The Canadian Bridge Federation (CBF) is the national organization that represents and supports bridge players across the country. We work to strengthen the game, advocate for our community, and ensure Canadians have a strong voice in the global bridge arena.
We collaborate with national partners, international federations, local clubs, teachers, and volunteers. Together, we aim to keep bridge vibrant, accessible, and thriving in every region of Canada.
Our Role in Canada & Internationally
National Advocacy
We represent bridge to the Government of Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee. One of our long-term goals is gaining recognition for bridge as a mind sport in Canada.
ACBL Partnership
We work with the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) to ensure the needs of Canadian clubs and players are understood and supported.
International Representation
As members of the World Bridge Federation (WBF), we protect Canada’s place on the world stage and help Canadian teams compete in international events.
