Bruce Elliott<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Bruce Elliot est n\u00e9 en 1922 et a v\u00e9cu toute sa vie dans la r\u00e9gion de Toronto. Son partenariat avec Percy Sheardown \u00e9tait un des meilleurs en Am\u00e9rique du Nord dans les ann\u00e9es 1950 et 1960 et leur \u00e9quipe avec Eric Murray et Sami Kehela se classe comme le meilleur quatuor canadien de tous les temps.<\/p>\n

Elliot a remport\u00e9 le troph\u00e9e Chicago (aujourd\u2019hui le Reisinger) en 1948 jouant avec Agnes Gordon, le premier de ses quatre titres majeurs nord-am\u00e9ricains. Il a remport\u00e9 le troph\u00e9e Chicago une seconde fois, en 1951, jouant avec Percy Sheardown.<\/p>\n

Avec Sheardown, Kehela et Murray, Elliot a remport\u00e9 les \u00e9quipes Spingold Master Knockout en 1964 et ce quatuor a d\u00e9fendu avec succ\u00e8s le titre en 1965, devenant le seul quatuor \u00e0 ce jour \u00e0 accomplir cette prouesse.<\/p>\n

Elliott a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le Canada deux fois aux Olympiades mondiales d\u2019\u00e9quipes, remportant une m\u00e9daille de bronze \u00e0 Deauville, France en 1968.<\/p>\n
