Canadian Bridge Championships (CBC)
The Canadian Bridge Championships (CBC) are Canada’s premier national bridge championships, held each year. Players from across the country compete in team events to become Canadian champions.

How to Enter the CNTC
The Canadian National Team Championship (CNTC) is open to all CBF members. Here is the simple path to play:

Qualify in a Championship Team Game
Between September 1 and December 31, play in a Team Qualifier game at a local club or online. These games award qualification for the CNTC.

Play the Online Round Robin (January)
Qualified teams play a round robin on RealBridge over one weekend in January. Separate events are held for Flights A, B, and C, Women’s, Seniors and Mixed.

No Qualification? Use the Buy-In Option
Teams who did not qualify may still enter the CNTC by purchasing a qualification. This option helps support CBF international programs.

Play the National Finals
The top teams advance to the playoffs, which are held face-to-face at the Canadian Bridge Championships.
Winners of CNTC-A, CWTC, CSTC, and CMTC also earn the right to represent Canada at World Bridge Federation championships.
Other CBC events award national titles, masterpoints, and in some cases cash prizes.
