Nous venons d'apprendre la mauvaise nouvelle du décès de Eric Kokish, survenu le lendemain du lancement du podcast. Il était l'un des grands joueurs de bridge et théoriciens du Canada. Il fait partie du Temple de la renommée de la FCB et de l'ACBL.

We have just received the very sad news that Eric Kokish has passed away, the day after the podcast aired. He was one of Canada's great bridge players and theorists. He is in the ACBL and CBF Hall of Fame.

The Canadian Bridge Championships are going on in Niagara Falls. The first event to be completed is the Canadian Senior Teams - CSTC.

Next Canada Wide Game on BBO May 20 – Canceled today

Our next monthly Canada wide virtual BBO game will be held on Saturday May 20
- “CBF 499 Game” $5 for 20 Boards - 1:00pm EDT
- “CBF Open Game” $6 for 24 Boards - 1:15pm EDT
The monthly game is held on the Saturday of the 3rd weekend of the month, and in for CBF members only. Thank you for supporting Canadian Bridge and have fun!

Cérémonie du Temple de la renommée 2023 le 11 mai à 20h30

Lors des Championnats canadiens de bridge à Niagara Falls, nous aurons la première cérémonie du Temple de la renommée depuis la pandémie.
Nous introniserons Jurek Czyzowicz et Dan Jacob. Nous espérons que ceux d'entre vous qui se trouvent à Niagara Falls pour les CCB & Régional assisteront à cette cérémonie qui aura lieu à la salle Elizabeth avec le maitre de cérémonie Nader Hanna.
Merci également à notre comité du Temple de la renommée et à sa présidente, Katie Thorpe !

2023 Hall of Fame Ceremony – May 11, 8:30pm

During our Canadian Bridge Championships in Niagara Falls, we will be holding the first Hall of Fame ceremony since the pandemic.
We will be inducting Jurek Czyzowicz and Dan Jacob.
We hope that those of you in Niagara Falls for the CBC & Regional will attend the Hall of Fame ceremony.
The ceremony will take place in the Elizabeth room with Master of Ceremonies Nader Hanna.
